Celebrate bats and learn the importance of these flying friends with crafts, activities, presentations, and more!   EXPLORE BATS Explore the garden to identify plants that attract bats, listen to bat sounds, and taste a bat’s favorite foods. Don’t forget to visit the kid’s craft corner and check out books about bats from the Baldwin Boettcher Library. Crafts and food samples while supplies last!
THE BATS OF HOUSTON presented by Brian Mihura From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Curious about bats? Want to learn more about these nocturnal, flying mammals? Join Brian Mihura, member of the Houston Area Bat Team and Bat Ambassador with Bat Conservation International, as he shares information about bat physiology and the role of bats in the environment. Then, become acquainted with 11 species of bats commonly found in Houston. Bring your bat questions for a great bat conversation!
