Please be advised that rising water at Big Stone Lodge has forced cancellation of afternoon programming today, May 7. Participants and staff have been directed to leave while the road is open.
Discover new adventures and a variety of activities at Precinct 4’s community centers. From fitness classes to arts and crafts to games and seasonal celebrations, our programs, seminars, and classes are free and designed for the entire family. Precinct 4’s community centers are inter-generational and serve people of all ages regardless of socioeconomic level, race, sex, religion, national origin, or physical ability. Programs and classes are provided at little or no cost; however, participants must furnish their own supplies or purchase supplies at instructors’ costs. Donations are welcome, but never required. As part of the community, we seek to help those in need through community outreach. Our fund-raising events provide school supplies for area children and toys for at-risk children during the holiday season. Volunteers help make these fund-raising events a success!
Precinct 4’s community centers depend on volunteers to support their intergenerational programs, classes, summer kids’ activities, seasonal celebrations, and community outreach programs.
If you are looking for rewarding and enriching ways to give back to the community, we encourage you to join the centers’ “family” of volunteers by contacting the center nearest you. The staff is ready and waiting with a list of ways you can contribute to the center and the community.
Please visit the How You Can Help section to learn of the many volunteer opportunities at Precinct 4’s community centers.
