Collins and Meyer Parks
Precinct 4 teamed up with I.M. Green Recycling (a nonprofit organization) to provide recycling services at Collins and Meyer parks. Recycling containers can be found next to all trash containers throughout the two parks.
In addition, Meyer Park has large recycling bins on the north and south sides of the park for collecting paper, cardboard, plastic (labeled 1-5), and aluminum.
Recycling Tips
Before placing items in the recycling bins, please follow these guidelines:
- Remove all caps from plastic bottles and containers
- Rinse all plastic and aluminum recyclables
- Place plastic and aluminum recyclables into plastic bags
- Place bags in collection containers
