Precinct 4 Parks

Bane Park is a 20-acre facility with barbecue grills, picnic pavilions, picnic tables, two lighted ball fields, a five-acre fishing lake, gazebo, horseshoe pits, paved walking trail, playground, rock climbing wall, sand volleyball court, splash pad, and rest room facilities.

*Private use of the sports fields requires prior permission from the sports association. Information on cancellations or changes of all sports association practice/game schedules occurring on sports fields in Precinct 4 parks must be directed to the individual association: Sports associations do not provide Precinct 4 with game schedules, cancellations, or changes of their activities.

With the exception of catfish and rainbow trout all fish caught in Lions Club Lake at Bane Park are catch-and-release. Anglers may retain three legal-size (12” minimum) catfish and five rainbow trout (no minimum size) per day.

Commissioner Jerry Eversole hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Friday, December 14, 2007 to kick off construction of the expansion project at Bane Park.
