Texas Bound, iNaturalist, and Wildlife Rehab at Jones Park Bookmark

With leadership from Commissioner R. Jack Cagle, Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center is a Harris County Precinct 4 facility located at 20634 Kenswick Drive in Humble. All programs are free of charge and open to the public. Harris County Precinct 4 programs serve people of all ages regardless of socioeconomic level, race, sex, religion, national origin, or physical ability. Jesse Jones Park Volunteers (JJPV) welcomes applications from interested participants. Precinct 4 Senior Adult Program’s August Calendar Bookmark

Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program provides senior adult trips and activities for everyone 50 years of age and better. Register online at www.hcp4.net/sap/events or call 281-893-3726. Checks are payable to Fun4Seniors and should be mailed to 1731 Hugh Road, Houston, Texas 77067. Mercer Botanic Gardens Opens New Children’s Garden
Children and families are invited to visit the new Children’s Garden at Mercer Botanic Gardens. Visitors will have the chance to explore the new garden, which features a larger-than-life succulent lizard; a plant zoo highlighting animal-named plants, such as elephant’s foot jade, red bird plant, and zebra aloe; and sensory plants, such as lamb’s ear and rosemary.
