Filled with botanic treasures, holiday gifts, and an assortment of plants, The Mercer Society Gift and Plant Shoppe is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. through December. Catch them while they last! The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) recently stocked Hart Lake at Pundt Park with 280 channel catfish. Anglers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to visit. Come prepared with the proper bait to maximize your success. According to TPWD, catfish prefer strong-smelling bait such as nightcrawlers, chicken livers, shrimp, stinkbait, or cut hot dogs.
