Mangum-Howell Center Hosts Seminar on Senior Medicare Fraud Bookmark

Ken Latimer, a retired federal law officer, who works with the Better Business Bureau Education Foundation, will share real-life stories from fraud victims and provide tips to seniors on how to avoid becoming the victim of fraud during this seminar Tuesday, March 15 at 10 a.m. at Mangum-Howell Center.

Ken Latimer, a retired federal law officer, who works with the Better Business Bureau Education Foundation, will share real-life stories from fraud victims and provide tips to seniors on how to avoid becoming the victim of fraud during this seminar Tuesday, March 15 at 10 a.m. at Mangum-Howell Center.

Latimer will share personal experiences and share some of the most common scams. For example, scam artists may claim to be a governmental entity or offer free products. Call 281-591- 7830 or come by the Center to register.

Mangum-Howell Center’s free intergenerational programs are part of Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle’s educational and recreational commitment to Harris County residents. Mangum-Howell Center is a Precinct 4 community center located in Doss Park at 2500 Frick Road, Houston 77038.

Harris County Precinct 4 programs serve people of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or physical ability. Anyone requiring special assistance to participate in any program should contact Mangum-Howell Center. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18.
