Mangum-Howell Center Hosts Mardi Gras Luncheon Featuring Vocalist Valerie Hill Bookmark

Everyone is invited to attend a Mardi Gras-themed luncheon with live entertainment at Mangum-Howell Center Tuesday, March 14 at noon.

Everyone is invited to attend a Mardi Gras-themed luncheon with live entertainment at Mangum-Howell Center Tuesday, March 14 at noon.

Mardi Gras costumes are encouraged. Vocalist and entertainer Valerie Hill will perform a variety of songs. The luncheon menu includes jambalaya, red beans and rice, cornbread, salad, king cake and unlimited coffee and ice tea. These monthly luncheons are a great opportunity to socialize with friends and meet new ones.

An $8 per person donation is requested and payable in advance when you register in the office. The deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, March 10.

Mangum-Howell Center’s free intergenerational programs are part of Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle’s educational and recreational commitment to Harris County residents. Mangum-Howell Center is a Precinct 4 community center located in Doss Park at 2500 Frick Road, Houston 77038.

Harris County Precinct 4 programs serve people of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or physical ability. Anyone requiring special assistance to participate in any program should contact Mangum-Howell Center. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18.
