TMS Plant and Gift Shoppe Featured at SpringFest Home & Garden Show in Old Town Spring

Spring is the perfect time for reinvention, especially in the garden! Find inspiration at Old Town Spring’s SpringFest Home & Garden Show Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Old Town Spring’s Preservation Park, located at 26303 Preston Ave.

With a focus on home and garden items, the festival features music, food and beverages, as well as craft vendors. Best of all, visitors will be able to watch live demonstrations of popular DIY projects and visit the shop-lined streets of Old Town Spring.

Newly relocated to Old Town Spring, The Mercer Society’s (TMS) Plant and Gift Shoppe will have a table prominently located at the event in addition to their shop on Main Street. Shoppers will also receive a complimentary gift with any purchase from the shop, and TMS will give away one free membership per day of SpringFest. TMS hopes the event will attract more volunteers and visitors to Mercer Botanic Gardens.

“Our retail location in Old Town Spring makes it easier for us to attract new visitors who may not have heard of Mercer Botanic Gardens,” said TMS President Maryanne Esser. “The festival occurs at an opportune time because we plan to reopen Mercer’s East Side Gardens the week prior. We’ll have plenty of opportunities to spread the word that Mercer’s East Side Gardens are open!”

Beginning as a Texas wine and art show, SpringFest has evolved into a home and garden event with entertainment, food, demonstrations, wine, and more. Entrance is free, and proceeds benefit The Spring Preservation League Incorporated.
