Harris County Cypresswood Annex Services Relocated Bookmark

Receive a jury summons? Need to register your car or attend court, but don’t know where to go? Most Harris County buildings survived Hurricane Harvey-related flooding, but a few were severely affected.

All Harris County offices at the Cypresswood annex, including the Harris County Clerk’s Office, the Harris County Tax Assessor, the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the Harris County Sherriff’s Office District 1 station, and the Justice Court Precinct 4 Place 1, have been relocated to new locations due to flooding.

• Justice Court Precinct 4 Place 1 (Judge Lincoln Goodwin) is now open to the public in a temporary location at the Courthouse Annex at 7900 Will Clayton Pkwy, Humble, TX 77338. Officials expect to reopen the Cypresswood courthouse in early 2018. For traffic and criminal cases, anyone wishing to enter a plea of no contest or guilty and pay the fine or sign up for a driving safety course can do so online at

• The HCSO District 1 station has been relocated to Northwest Assistance Ministries, located at 15555 Kuykendahl, Houston, Texas 77090. For more information, call 281-885-4550.
• For law enforcement service, response and emergency/non-emergency calls, the dispatch center is still available 24/7 at the same phone number, 281-376-3472.

• For general inquiries, please contact the East Patrol Substation in Humble at 281-446-1196. All fingerprinting services are currently unavailable.

Jury duty has resumed after the Jury Assembly Building in downtown Houston was inundated with 9 feet of water. Jurors should report to the Administration Building at 1001 Preston. The parking garage is located at 1401 Congress Houston, TX 77002 If you have pending business with the court and have been displaced due to Hurricane Harvey or moved for any reason, you must notify the court of your new address.
