Children, along with their
parents and teachers, are invited to join the Wildflower Club sponsored by Dan’s Hardware. This program not only teaches kids and adults how to safely use organic products, but it serves as a
beautification project by assisting Dan of Dan’s Hardware with planting wildflowers in vacant
lots. For more information, call (281) 415-8588. To register, call Mercer at (281) 443-8731. |

An oasis of serenity and natural beauty
along Cypress Creek, Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens is a horticultural masterpiece.
These 300 acres of East Texas Piney Woods
showcase the region’s largest collection of
native and cultivated plants. A living museum,
it is also home to a wealth of animal life. |
