Bicycle Nature Tours
9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Take a bicycling trip through various Precinct 4 parks on natural and paved trails. Ages 8 and up are invited.
Monthly at 8 a.m.
Al Barr leads this class for participants 10 and up. Bring your binoculars and field guide to join a staff naturalist for an early morning glimpse of the park’s bird life.
Creek Cleanup Days
Volunteer to clean-up along the creek to make your community beautiful. Cleaner creeks benefit the efforts of the Clean Water Act, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), and the Clean Water Clear Choice program administered through Harris County's Public Infrastructure Department Storm Water Quality Section.
Guided Fishing Trips
Bring a fishing pole, tackle, and bait for a fun-filled afternoon at the park. An instructor will be available to answer questions and offer tips to beginner anglers. Dress for the weather and bring a snack and refillable water bottle. Catch and release only.
Guided Nature Tours
Everyone ages 6 and up is invited to explore nature while learning about the environment. Group reservations are allowed for parties of ten or more. Dress for the weather and bring water and snacks. Families are encouraged to attend together.
