A recent acquisition of 115 acres along Spring Creek by the Trust for Public Land (TPL) completes the 7.5 mile section along the Spring Creek Greenway that will link Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center to Pundt Park.

2008 National Trails Day Event

In celebration of National Trails Day 2008, 110 volunteers from the community joined REI Willowbrook Store personnel and Precinct 4 Parks Department staff on Saturday, June 7 to build the equestrian portion of the Spring Creek Greenway trailhead in Pundt Park. Tools, wheelbarrows, and water were supplied to everyone who worked along with a barbecue sandwich lunch generously provided by Commissioner Eversole. Construction of Pundt Park will officially kick off Friday, July 18 following a groundbreaking ceremony hosted by Commissioner Eversole.
