Matthews Park is a six-acre facility with one lighted softball field, one lighted basketball pavilion, one unlighted basketball court, one volleyball court, a barbecue pavilion, a community building, a playground, picnic tables, barbecue grills, a 1/3-mile paved trail, and rest room facilities.

The community building is located within Matthews Park and two meeting rooms are available for private functions:

Room A accommodates 76 people and has access to full kitchen facilities.
Room B accommodates 36 people and has access to partial kitchen facilities.

	*Ball field reservations:       Monday through Friday before 3:30 p.m.:     No reservations required; use is available on a first-come, first-served basis.       Monday through Friday after 3:30 p.m.:     First-come, first-served reservations required; only one two-hour session per week can be reserved in the following hourly increments:       3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.       Saturday and Sunday:     Ball field is open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis during the park’s hours of operation. Reservations are not required.
