Ongoing Programs

Children's Storytime in the Garden meets every Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In partnership with Harris County Public Library, Mercer presents this unique storytime in the natural setting of Mercer for parents and children to enjoy together. Storytime locations vary each week, so please call 713-274-4160 to find out the location or to check for cancellations due to weather. Free.

Stroller Strolls meets the first Thursday of each month from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Join other parents who want to get active in a family friendly outdoor setting. The stroller-filled group tours the gardens once a month. Call 713-274-4160 for more information or for cancellations due to weather.

Lunch Bunch meets on the second Wednesday of the month from noon to 2 p.m. Bring a lunch to enjoy while listening to a lecture on a variety of gardening topics.

Cypress Creek Daylily Club meets the fourth Sunday of most months from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.in the Visitor Center.
